This avoids falling into thoughts of martyrdom, which may be admirable, but are rarely practical - and often backfire.<br /><br />Stoicism's notion of the Logos is very profound, that harmony with our inner nature is something I feel I'm still discovering - it goes so deep.<br /><br />Lastly, nothing is as sobering as death.
